Mondays Progress
Tomorrow (Monday), me, Jordan and Lewis plan to finish our OTS. All we need to do now is to find a sound/piece of music to be played behind our filming. We have decided that the music will include only violins, played in a minor key or something like that! This is to make the OTS less boring a keep the audience more entertained than without music etc.
Also tomorrow I will try to put the original recording of our OTS on my blog, to show our progress and our mistakes etc.

Today's Progress
Today Lewis, Jordan and me went out to rerecord a clip we weren't very happy with. This is the scene were we see one character get shot in the alley way. We didn't want to keep this as we thought it looked too unreal as the character was kneeling after he got shot, which is an unlikely position after getting shot! We decided this time to have the character sitting down in an abnormal position. This then made the scene far more believable! We then edited the scene to match it to the other scenes (changing contract and making scene black & white). Although we have finished recording our audio/voiceover, and uploading them, we still need to add them to our OTS, then it'll be finished.
Editing our OTS
To edit we used imovie. We edited our OTS because we wanted to make it fluent and we needed to change the colour so it met the criteria of a film noir.
Firstly, we uploaded our clips from the camera to the mac then put them on to the imovie timeline.
Secondly, we made the clips shorter and closer together so the film was fluent and gripping. We also uploaded our voice overs and added them in the places we wanted.
Thirdly, we changed all the clips to black and white so it would look like the start of a film noir.
Lastly, we added music to the final piece. We used slow violin music so it made it look more mysterious and interesting.
